Knife

The end of a piece of hacksaw can be filed and sharpened to make a good knife to use for cutting and scoring.

Make the same as the saw but a deeper groove and more blade sticking out.

A hack saw blade is difficult to sharpen and will need a good quality file, but it will stay sharp longer 

A good knife especially for light cutting can be made from an awl.

​It is best to do only a little hammering for the shape and finish by filing or grinding.
